My view on this product
I like the CD-5 for combining instrumental weight with supple phrasing. Voices breathe, the midrange stays clear and bass gives generous foundation without freezing rhythm. The soundstage extends in width, height and depth with space around performers. It moves from delicate music to vigorous passages while retaining cohesion. Its tonal balance and lack of aggression especially appeal to me for long listening.
