DP-450
High-precision CD transport.
Balanced design. 32-bit / 384 kHz & DSD512 DAC.
My view on this product
I like the DP-450 for its delicate timbres and its way of giving instruments depth without hardening their outlines. Voices have colour, reverberation stays clear and the soundstage is built with pleasing coherence. I value its even tonal balance, refined yet sufficiently grounded to keep music anchored. Dynamics emerge mainly through subtle nuances and the breathing of phrases. For me, this is elegant, natural listening that favours musical continuity over a show of force.
